“Balancing of Finding Self”
A search inward to balance all the aspects of our nature through the ups and downs, from the external world to the internal one. The piece is split into 2 halves of color, this is to represent the metaphorical balance of life we are in search for. With a simple yet elegant gesture of composition in color and form, we see that the technical balance acquired through the conceptual aging wall, has much more to do with the reflection of our deeper psyche than we tend to recognize.
Each piece is hand carved out of its printed archival paper and mounted into plexiglass by the artist. Garcia chose to make a print that would mimic his originals by the uniqueness of its organic shapes and the floated look that casts a shadow replicating its organic nature. These prints are limited to 11 and will not be remade in this size.
